Antique Vintage KITTEN IN HATBOX Plush Mohair Cat 1940s 1950s English Toy

  
This sleeping kitten curled inside a hatbox is named Tiny. She is made of white mohair and has a pink stitched nose and filament whiskers. She is in excellent condition.

Her blue hatbox is made of sturdy cardboard. The Queen Made In England. " The hatbox has a retail sticker on its bottom that reads "F.

" and an ink stamp that says "Made in England. " The hatbox measures 6" in diameter and 3 in height. Tiny's stuffing has the softer feel of cotton batting in her body and the firmer feel of excelsior in her head. She is exceptionally cute, snuggled in a cuddly little ball, and resembles a Steiff or other classic plush toy.

It is likely she was made circa the 1940s or 1950s. She smells clean and fresh. She is a rare vintage plush toy that is at least 60 years old and almost as perfect as the day she was made.
