Adorable vintage artist-made black cat up for sale. This astonishingly well-made cat is in pristine condition and would make a great gift. The attached tag is signed by the artist, JB Backer. The tag also says Backer Cats and has a logo. It names the black cat as Freddy and has the name of the song that plays when you wind the key in Freddy's back--the song is "King of the Road" and if you don't know the song, do yourself a favor and Youtube it. Such a cute pairing with this jointed black cat. Freddy has green glass eyes, nylon whiskers, a nose meticulously crafted of pink thread, and embroidered claws on all four feet. The entire figure is in pristine condition.

Freddy measures 17" high and 11" wide. The musical part of Freddy works perfectly and adds SO much charm to this already-very charming cat. Freddy is wearing jeans with rolled-up cuffs and a jaunty red bandana around his neck. There is a hole in his jeans for his very long and self-supporting tail to emerge.
